Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using VibeTools ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
VibeTools is a free, web-based collection of productivity and utility tools including but not limited to:
- Pomodoro Timer with statistics and break exercises
- Color tools (picker, palette generator, converter)
- Image tools (editor, compressor, converter)
- Text tools (case converter, word counter, formatter)
- Code tools (formatter, minifier)
- Media tools (video/audio trimmer)
- Other utility tools
The Service operates entirely in your browser and does not require account creation or personal information.
Optional Paid Services (Planned)
In addition to our free browser-based tools, we're planning to offer an optional paid database storage service in the future for users who want their data to persist across devices or be stored for longer periods.
Important: This service is not yet available. The free version of VibeTools works perfectly without any paid services.
Planned Database Storage Service Terms:
- What Will Be Included: Secure cloud storage for your notes, preferences, and statistics
- Pricing: Will be charged to cover infrastructure costs (servers, databases, backups, security)
- Transparency: We're a small team of enthusiasts - we'll only charge what's needed to sustain the service
- Service Sustainability: We'll maintain this service as long as it's financially feasible
- Price Changes: If infrastructure costs change significantly, we may need to adjust pricing with advance notice
- Service Discontinuation: In rare cases where the service is no longer feasible, we'll provide advance notice and options to export your data
- Data Deletion: If you choose to discontinue the paid service, you can export your data or we'll delete it from our servers upon request
Our Commitment: When this service launches, we'll always give you the option to export your data before any service changes or discontinuation. Your data will belong to you.

User Responsibilities
You Agree To:

- Not use the Service to infringe on intellectual property rights

You Acknowledge That:
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of third-party content complies with copyright laws
- VibeTools is not responsible for content accessed through external APIs
- You use the Service at your own risk
Third-Party Content & Services
VibeTools integrates with various third-party APIs and services to provide functionality. These include:
- Pixabay API - For image search and wallpapers
- Radio Browser API - For radio streaming
- Google News RSS - For news articles
- Wikipedia API - For informational content
IMPORTANT: We do not host, store, or distribute content from these services. We merely provide a convenient interface to access them. You are subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of these third-party providers when using their content.
Cookies & Analytics
By using the Service and accepting the cookie notice, you agree to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. In summary:
- Preference cookies — store your theme, language, and layout choices so they persist between visits. These are set only after you accept the cookie notice, or when you actively change a setting. You may clear them at any time via your browser settings.
- Functional cookie — an encrypted cookie used solely to prevent automated abuse of the contact and feedback form. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
- Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to collect anonymised, aggregate data (page views, performance metrics, country-level location). No personally identifiable information is stored or sold.
Your choice: You may decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner on first visit. Declining will not affect core tool functionality, but your theme and layout preferences will not be saved between sessions.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
VibeTools Code & Design
The VibeTools application, including its design, code, and original content, is protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the application without permission.
Third-Party Content
All content accessed through third-party APIs (images, articles, radio streams, etc.) remains the property of their respective owners. VibeTools does not claim ownership of this content.
User-Generated Content
Any content you create using VibeTools (edited images, formatted text, etc.) belongs to you. Since all processing happens in your browser, we never have access to your content.
Open-Source Software
VibeTools is built with open-source packages, each used under its own licence. The full list, with versions and licences, is on the Open-Source Licences page, and images, music, radio streams and articles from other services are credited on the Credits page.
Copyright Complaints and Takedown
We respect the rights of creators. If you believe something on VibeTools, including a file shared through one of our tools or an asset we use, infringes your copyright or licence, email support@vibetools.site with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:
- your name and contact details;
- the work you own, or a link to it;
- the exact URL on VibeTools where the material appears;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act for the owner.
We review every complete notice, remove or disable material that infringes, and reply to tell you what was done. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our message with your reasons and we will review it. Content served directly by a third-party service (for example a Wikipedia article or a radio stream) is controlled by that service; we will stop showing it on VibeTools and point you to the provider.
Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, complaints about content on VibeTools, or about how these Terms are applied, can be sent to our Grievance Officer:

Every complaint is acknowledged and answered.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
VibeTools and its creators, contributors, and affiliates SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
- Damages arising from third-party content or services
- Copyright infringement claims related to third-party content
- Any other damages or losses
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VibeTools, its creators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including copyright
- Any content you create or access using the Service
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you can delete all Service-related data by clearing your browser storage.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
