Compare times across cities and convert a timestamp
The clock starts with your local time and UTC, and you can add any timezone from the full IANA list, searching by city, country or GMT offset. Each clock shows the time, the date, its current UTC offset, and the Unix timestamp in seconds and in milliseconds, each with a copy button. Times tick live every second, and a toggle switches between 12-hour and 24-hour display.
To use it as a converter, click the time on the primary clock, type a date and time in that zone, and save. Every other clock shifts to show the same moment in its own zone, which answers the "9am in Mumbai is what time in New York" question without arithmetic. The live feed pauses while you do this and a reset button returns everything to now. Clicking the primary clock's name lets you change which zone it represents.
Daylight saving is handled by the browser's own timezone database through Intl.DateTimeFormat, so offsets are correct for the date in question rather than a fixed value per city. Your list of clocks is saved in the browser's local storage so it is there on your next visit, and nothing is sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a time from one timezone to another?
Click the time on the top clock, enter the date and time you want to convert, and save. All the other clocks update to show that moment in their zones. Click the reset icon to return to the live time.
What is the difference between the Unix and Epoch values?
Both count from 1 January 1970 UTC. Unix is in seconds, which is what most APIs and databases use; Epoch here is in milliseconds, which is what JavaScript's Date.now() returns.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Offsets come from the browser's timezone data for the specific date shown, so London reads GMT+1 in July and GMT in January, and a converted time in March or October lands on the correct side of the changeover.
Can I find a timezone by its offset?
Yes. Type an offset such as GMT+5:30 or GMT-8 in the search box and every zone currently at that offset is listed, alongside matches on city and country names.
Are my clocks saved?
In this browser only, using local storage. They are not synced to other devices, and clearing site data removes them.
