Draw or type a signature and export it as a transparent PNG
Two ways to make one. Draw it with a mouse, trackpad or finger on the signing area, with a pen thickness from 1 to 12 pixels, an undo button for the last stroke and a clear button to start again. Type it enters your name and renders it in one of four styles (brush script, handwriting, roundhand or a formal serif) at a size from 24 to 120 pixels.
Ink colour is black, blue or red by default, with a colour picker for anything else. The export is always a PNG with a transparent background, rendered at your display's pixel density so it stays sharp when placed on a document, and it downloads as signature.png. Drop it onto a PDF, a Word document, an email signature or a form that asks for an image of your signature.
The typed styles use fonts already installed on your device, so the exact look differs between Windows, macOS and Linux, and a drawn signature is the only way to reproduce how you actually sign. The canvas never leaves the browser: nothing is uploaded, stored or kept after you close the tab.
Frequently asked questions
Is the background really transparent?
Yes. The canvas is never filled, so the PNG contains only the ink. It will look correct on white, dark or coloured paper.
Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
It produces an image of a signature, not a certified digital signature. Whether an image is accepted depends on the document, the counterparty and your jurisdiction; it carries no cryptographic proof of who signed.
Can I change the size of the PNG?
The image matches the signing area at your screen's pixel ratio. Use the thickness or font size sliders to fill it, then scale the PNG in the document you place it on; transparent PNGs resize cleanly.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. The drawing area responds to touch, and a finger on a phone screen usually gives a more natural signature than a mouse.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. It is drawn and exported in your browser and discarded when you leave the page.
